  My apartment is terrible. There are others that are really nice but I'm leaving as soon as I can. There are new owners so hopefully they won't rent this unit and convert it to storage. The bedroom windows are on the landing so I can never open them or everyone coming in and out of the building looks directly into the bedroom. The door to the east wing is directly outside the apartment and it's opening and closing all day and night. People sit on the steps and smoke so I can't open windows. There are buckets of water that have been in the hallways for months from the leaking ceiling pipes. If the staff likes you they are great - if you complain because they kept a package in the office for 5 months because they have no tracking system and they forgot - you'll be put on their list and when you inform them of rodents in the apartment they will just ignore you. There is black string mold in the bathroom pipes so no matter how much I scrub it keeps coming back. When work is done - trucks will park under your window all day for cleaning the carpets or whatever they're doing that day. The apartment above has no sound insulation and at all hours of the day and night (3 am, 4 am, . . ) the ceiling shakes with loud thumps - wonder if they're putting in a bowling alley? Like I said there are some people who love it here - but you have to have an apartment above the first floor and on the southwest end of the building. The rest aren't so great. It's not really a home - it's more like a long-term residence motel - you're just a paying guest - it's not really your apartment - it's theirs - you're just a temporary tenant.
